Royston Hawkes – Reported missing in Torquay

We need your assistance in finding 79-year-old Royston Hawkes, who has gone missing from the Torquay area. Authorities are growing increasingly concerned about his well-being. The last sighting of Mr. Hawkes was in the Avenue Road area of Torquay on the morning of Thursday, June 29.

Described as a sprightly individual with short grey hair, Mr. Hawkes stands at a height of 5ft 5in and has a slim build. It is possible that he is currently wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and trainers.

Known as Roy, he reportedly made a visit to the NatWest Bank on Union Street, Torquay, on the same day he was last seen. He has a penchant for frequenting betting shops and has been to Torbay before.

Police have shared that Mr. Hawkes departed from his South Wales residence on the morning of Wednesday, June 28. In a surprising turn of events, he had not informed his friends or family about his trip, although he had recently spoken about his desire to visit Torquay and the Isle of Wight.

We urge anyone with information regarding Mr. Hawkes’ whereabouts to contact the police immediately on 999, quoting log number 282 of 30/06/23. Your swift action could help reunite Mr. Hawkes with his loved ones and ensure his safety.
