National Highways Announces Three Minor Road Closures in Teignbridge

Attention, Teignbridge drivers! We have some news to share regarding upcoming road closures in our area. However, fear not, as the disruptions are expected to be minimal, with delays of less than 10 minutes.

According to the latest anticipated works list provided by National Highways, three closures are scheduled to take place over the next two weeks. Here are the details:

  1. A30 Closure: From 7pm on July 4th to 6am on July 6th, there will be a slight delay on the A30. Specifically, the northbound carriageway between junctions 31 and 30 will be closed for structural works. Don’t worry, the delay is expected to be under 10 minutes. For drivers using the A30, there will be a diversion in place via the A379, Marsh Barton, and A377. Alternatively, those traveling on the A38 can take the A379 as a diversion route.
  2. A38 Closure: Between 9pm on July 10th and 6am on July 12th, a slight delay is anticipated on the westbound carriageway of the A38 at Haldon Hill. The closure is required for Openreach works. Please note that the expected delay will be under 10 minutes.
  3. A38 Closure: Another brief closure is scheduled for the A38 eastbound at Kennford. This closure will take place from 10pm on July 10th to 5am on July 11th. Devon County Council works will be carried out during this time. Once again, the delay is expected to be minimal, with no more than 10 minutes.

It’s important to note that National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, which is why closures on smaller roads are not included in their schedule.

We understand that any disruption can be frustrating, but rest assured that these closures have been planned to minimize inconvenience as much as possible. National Highways is committed to ensuring smooth travels for all road users.

Stay updated with the latest information and any changes by referring to official announcements from National Highways. As always, drive safely and be mindful of the diversions and signage provided during these temporary closures.
